You're doing your thing, you're acting in your role, making the world better step by step. But there's this person. Maybe somebody who follows the same path like you, maybe not, but one thing is clear: They're always getting in the way! They're making you furious!
This is how you deal with that.

Alternatively, your "rival" here could also be a certain kind of situation or creature that always gets in your way.

Major Goals

The HG can award you 5 XP towards this quest when: Your obsession with beating your Rival makes the problem at hand much worse or ruins one of your projects / hurts someone dear to you; You are forced or tricked into working with your Rival, reluctantly; You suffer a major defeat against your Rival, optionally they show an act of kindness towards you afterwards You can earn each bonus once, for a total of up to 15 XP.

Quest Flavor 1/chapter, you can earn a bonus XP towards this quest for: You theorize on a plan to get the better of your Rival; You monologue obsessively about your Rival; Your Rival catches you in a moment of weakness/foolery; You have an over-the-top contest with your Rival; Obligatory Foe Yay scene You can combine this with an XP Action, but you’re not required to.
